I can hardly believe it has been three weeks since Kevin and Steph's beautiful wedding. I grabbed a few pictures to edit the day after wedding, but due to some technical difficulties was delayed in getting the rest for the post edited. Sorry it is so late, I included extra pictures to make up for it.... here is your preview post! :)
I was so lucky to have my awesome friend Katie along as my second shooter. She grabbed this shot of Kevin while I was up shooting the girls.
If you remember from the engagement session, Kevin and Steph are big OSU/KState fans...and their wedding reflected that! This is also Katie's shot.
Steph's nieces and nephews were hanging out in the bridal suite...it was so fun. Made me excited for the day my younger brothers get married and have THEIR nieces or nephews hanging out with them! :)
First looks are always one of my favorite parts of the wedding day...and luckily as the photographer you get a front row seat!
This next shot is one of my favorites. Clearly you can see the emotion between the two, but even more, I love that you can see a tiny scar under Steph's arm. This couple was in a very, very serious car accident after Thanksgiving. One that could have taken both of their lives. If anything...one that could have very much so delayed this beautiful day. But here they were less than five months later, fully healed on their wedding day. And they made sure to praise God for that healing all day. Anyways...I think being able to see that tiny scar, in a picture with so much emotion, is something kind of special.
This next three are Katie's shots!
This next one may be my favorite shot from the entire day! :)
Kevin sometimes struggles to keep his eyes open in pictures. :)
The next shot is Katie's...great picture of Steph and her YoungLife girls.
Pre-wedding prayer time.
Ceremony!
I love this...after the ceremony I was in changing up batteries and resting for just a bit when Steph and Kevin came into the brides room and just sat down. They explained they were doing the same thing...just taking a little rest. I got up and said I would give them a few minutes and they said "Oh no, you're fine! We just want to get off our feet for a minute." They were sitting so cute (keep in mind these next shots are completely unposed) that I asked if I could snap a couple pics while they chatted. I got this one, then said I was going to head over to the church reception. Wouldn't you know...as soon as that door closed, these two started making out. Newlyweds!
I am still in the process of working my way through all of their reception pictures (there was a TON of dancing! but here are a few we grabbed before the reception and then a couple of their first dance!
And we will wrap this post up with their first dance as husband and wife!
Thanks for letting me photograph your wedding!!! It was such a wonderful day and I loved being a part of it!
