Madelyn Senior Preview

A couple weeks back I took Madelyn's senior pictures. We had a great time and I can honestly say that as a photographer I have never photographed someone who can rock the serious face as well as Madelyn can! I'm pretty sure she could win America's next top model with that little talent of hers. She also has a bright, gorgeous smile so I really struggled to pick her preview pictures!

Grace: Senior Preview

A couple weekends ago I had the pleasure of taking Grace's senior pictures.
My mom coach's Grace's tennis team and when I told her I was taking Grace's pictures she said "Oh you will have just the best time! She is adorable!" And, as always, my mom was right. :) She was just the sweetest and I had the best time hanging out with her and her mom.  She plans to attend the greatest university in the world (aka the University of Kansas aka the LITERAL World Champions of basketball right now) and I had a great time talking about college and sororities and all the fun things that lay ahead for her.

Colton Senior Preview

I had a great time taking Colton's senior pictures last weekend. I got to take his sister Melissa's pictures a couple years ago and still can't hardly believe she is in college (and a Theta...woot woot!) so you can imagine how unreal it seems to me that Colton is headed off to KU next year, too. Seriously, when did these little kids I used to see running around the Dunes pool suddenly grow up?!

Colton, I had a great time taking your pictures. I'm looking forward to catching a couple football games this year. Enjoy every last bit of your senior year!

Morgan Wedding

Last weekend I had the honor of photographing Whitney and Matt's wedding. They ended up with a really hot day and didn't complain about it once. They were just way too happy to complain about anything. It was so fun photographing them and their awesome (and really fun!) wedding party. Matt and Whitney, their wedding party, and their guests were all as nice as could be and made me feel like I was a friend just there to enjoy the day (and of course take a couple pictures here and there). The Bernard Wedding

This wedding was a special one. In part, because I think the bride, Erin, is among the nicest girls I have ever met. And her groom, Jon? Definitely one of the nicest guys out there. And on top of that, they are high school sweethearts! If there was an award for nicest power couple out there, they would win it. But I don't even think that's it. I guess you'll just have to look at the pictures. Especially the one of Jon as Erin came down the aisle. I think that says it all. These two are just the sweetest and I think everybody who went to their wedding left feeling the same way I did...that they just have something special.

And just for a fun, here is a couple pictures I had on my computer from when they were in high school and both on homecoming court. Kind of fun that he carried her into their wedding reception the same way he carried her out on to the stage to be introduced as a queen candidate just a few years before. :)

Congratulations, you guys! I could not be happier for you and feel honored that you chose me to document your day!!! It was perfect!
